TEACHER’S FELICITATION PROGRAM ON 06.09.14
Varanasi Sahodaya School Complex (VSSC) has custom writing service felicitated 25 Teachers from its member schools with SHIKSHA RATNA SAMMAN on 6th September, 2014 at Dayawati Modi Academy, Ramnagar, Varanasi. The felicitation was on the occasion of Teacher’s Day as a gesture to express gratitude towards the teachers’ selfless service. The day was celebrated as a ‘Thanks Giving Day’ for teachers by honouring them for their outstanding contribution to their school, society and the nation.
The program started with an introduction and significance of Teacher’s Day by the anchor – Mr. Surajeet Dasgupta followed by garlanding the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. D. K. Thakur, IPS, IG Training, Chunar and the Guests of Honour Prof. Shamim Akhtar, HOD Persian Studies, BHU; Prof. Chandana Haldar, HOD Zoology, BHU in the presence of the Executive Committee of VSSC and the distinguished Principals of the member schools.
The melody of Sahodaya Song by DMA Choir swayed everyone present. Then the august gathering was welcomed by Dr. Ranjan Roy, President, VSSC.
Felicitation of the selected 25 teachers was done by the Chief Guest, the Guests of Honour, Executive Committee & Member Principals.
In the Chief Guest’s address, Mr. Thakur congratulated all the 25 teachers for their recognition as Shiksha Ratna and expected that the teaching fraternity of VSSC members will keep on pouring the immortal drink of knowledge & wisdom on the young minds forever.
In the Cultural Program, Group Dance, dissertation writing Classical Dance & Orchestra by the VSSC member schools mesmerised the august gathering.
In the Vote of thanks Mr. R.K. Pandey, Secretary, VSSC expressed his heartfelt joy for everyone’s contribution & cooperation to make this noble mission a great success.
The program concluded with a group photo session of the Guests, Principals and Teachers followed by the National Anthem.
