A WORKSHOP ON CBSE SGAI ADVOCACY CUM ORIENTATION PROGRAMME

A one day Advocacy cum Orientation Programme on CBSE SGAI (Students Global Aptitude Index) was organised by Dayawati Modi Academy, Varanasi on 12th July. Dr. Kumud Srivastava, a Psychologist –Counsellor, Soft Skill trainer and Mrs. Sudha Singh, Principal – Sunbeam Lahartara, were the Resource Persons.
After the formal welcome and lighting of lamp, the session started with an introduction to ‘CBSE-SGAI’, need and importance of ‘Aptitude Assessment in Schools’. Brain storming session was conducted on ‘Identifying Aptitudes’ and ‘Developing Core Life Skills’. Case Studies Presentation on ‘Planning and Decision Making’ was effectively done by the distinguished participants in Groups. ‘Role Plays’ by the participants on ‘Career Planning and Guidance’ was the attraction of the Session. Open House Discussion on ‘Parental Role in Academic and Career Guidance’ gave an insight to the participants.
The entire session was conducted in a very interesting way by using various methodologies including Power Point Presentation, Activities, Role Plays & Group Discussions.
As many as 51 participants of the reputed Schools of Varanasi and around participated in the event.
Dr. Ranjan Roy, Principal Host School rendered his Vote of Thanks followed by the distribution of the Pariticipation Certificates and a Group Photo Session.
